Official Rules
1. Contest registration for the Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge Lots O¹
Jackpots promotion will begin on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at10:00 a.m.
2. Contestants must be a Premier Club member and 21 years of age or older at
the time of entry. Membership is free.
3. To be eligible, contestants must have their Premier Club Card properly
inserted into a slot machine card reader inside the Hollywood Casino Baton
Rouge casino.
4. Any applicable taxes, fees, and gratuities are the responsibility of the
winner. Winner must complete tax form 1099 as a condition of accepting any
prize with a value over $599.
5. Employees of Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge and Penn National Gaming are
not eligible to participate.
6. Jackpots will begin at $1 and will hit by $100. After a winner is
selected, another jackpot will begin. Each jackpot will increase until a
winner is selected.
7. Due to the randomness of this promotion, the actual prize amount may
exceed the advertised maximum amount. In the event the prize actual amount
exceeds the advertised amount, the amount of the jackpot at the time of
winning will be paid.
8. A total of 72 jackpots will be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the
number of eligible participants at the time the jackpot is awarded.
9. One name will be chosen randomly for each drawing from the casino system.
Contestants must have their card properly inserted into a slot machine card
reader at the time of the drawing in order to be selected.
10. The card reader display/I-View on the slot machine will notify the
players that a winner is being selected. The winner will be notified with a
Winner Show on their card reader display/I-View. The winner will receive
the prize value in Star Credits at the time of winning.
11. Contestants may win more than once during the promotion.
12. All prizes will be paid in Star Credits. Star Credits will expire 7 days
from the date awarded.
13. Winner names will not be given via telephone, fax, e-mail, or any other
fashion.
14. Participation in the contest constitutes an agreement by each contestant
to be bound by these Official Rules.
15. Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge reserves the right to disqualify persons
found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this contest.
16. Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge reserves the right to terminate, modify or
suspend the contest at any time. Should the contest be terminated prior to
the stated expiration date, Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge reserves the right
to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
17. All prize monies are to be classified as a Marketing expense identified
within the Marketing budget.
18. By entering, contestants allow Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge and other
promotional sponsors, agents and its advertising and promotion agencies the
use of his or her name, photo, and statements for further promotional use.
Contestants may be contacted by Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge via
telemarketing for further information and/or offers regarding this
promotion. This contest is subject to these Official Rules, which shall be
prominently displayed at the Premier Club.
19. By entering the contest, entrants agree to waive any right to claim any
ambiguity or error in the Official Rules of the Contest, or the Contest
itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions
of Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge, whose decisions are final and binding in
all respects.
20. Entrants agree that Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge or its affiliates shall
not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from
participation in contest, acceptance / possession or use / misuse of prize,
or any technical malfunctions of the computer network, computer online
system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or any
combination thereof, or for multiple entries entered in violation of these
rules or by other than human means, or for entries that are late, lost,
destroyed, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, damaged, or otherwise not
in compliance with these Official Rules.
